The “Gorello” is the stream that feeds the Cascate del Mulino hot springs, a small body of water that is a bit of a local secret. Some tourists, in fact, call the waterfalls, the Gorello Waterfalls, after this spring.<\/p>\n
The torrent flows between a characteristic reed bed forming a path made of small inlets and many twists and turns. From here, hot spring water of Saturnia flows to reach the Cascatelle before cascading\u00a0into the natural pools below.<\/p>\n
You can swim in the “gorello”. The water is just as warm, but the views aren’t as panoramic. The entrance is located just outside the car park of the Terme di Saturnia resort and spa. Look for the cars parked along the side of the road.<\/p>\n
